Firms giving back: Protiviti holds U.S. Intern Day of Service

Top 100 Firm Prager Metis has announced the formation of The Prager Metis Charitable Foundation, a 501(c)(3) organization that will coordinate and support the philanthropic fundraising efforts of the firm.

Former New York City office managing partner Steven Topal will serve as president of the foundation.

“Each year, the firm sees an increase in the number of requests for donations it receives,” stated Topal. “The formation of the Charitable Foundation is an important step in ensuring that we are the best stewards we can be for the monies that are ear-marked for charitable causes and making certain the funds are used for the best possible purposes.”

In addition to its annual fundraising efforts and partnership with the Alzheimer’s Association, Prager Metis will continue to contribute to charitable organizations centered on health and social services, education, economic development, and arts and cultural programs.

“Charitable giving is part of our culture at Prager Metis,” said CEO Glenn Friedman in a statement. “In the words taken from our firm credo: ‘At Prager Metis, we are part of something bigger.’”
