The New Jersey Society of CPAs launched its eighth annual food drive this week, directly benefiting the Community FoodBank of New Jersey. The Society will be accepting donations through Friday, November 17.
“It’s a great opportunity to give back to those less-fortunate neighbors in our community with some tangible help. Hunger cuts across all county lines,” stated Jay Lauretta, chair of the NJCPA Emerging Leaders Council.
The NJCPA hopes to raise 3,000 pounds of nonperishable items and canned goods by Nov. 17, attempting to best last year’s collection of 2,900 pounds.
