Thomson Reuters and Salesforce have integrated their software to help a broader base of clients get access to Thomson Reuters’ World-Check, a database of risk intelligence data collected to help companies meet their due-diligence obligations. Now, Salesforce users can access the database on the Salesforce AppExchange through the Thomson Reuters Customer Risk Screener Application.
The Risk Screener app helps accountants determine whether their prospect or client is likely to be a fraudulent actor or not.
The information available on World-Check is meant to help companies avoid inadvertently being used to launder the proceeds of financial crime or associate with corrupt business practices. The database is manned by human analysts who speak more than 65 languages, and monitor more than 600 sanctions, regulatory and law enforcement lists, and thousands of media sources, as well as company information and regulatory filings, to ensure World-Check’s data is accurate and up-to-date.
World-Check is available on a subscription basis to those who carry out due diligence or other screening activities in accordance with legal or regulatory obligations or risk management procedures to combat financial crime.
