Firms giving back: Bonadio Group donates baseball tickets to NY charities

The Bonadio Group donates Minor League Baseball tickets to local charities

New York firm The Bonadio Group has once more sent free tickets to local nonprofits for the Rochester Red Wings, the local Minor League Baseball team in upstate New York.

The firm set a record this year by providing tickets to hundreds of participants at 22 organizations. The annual program is led by firm partner Gerald “Jerry” Archibald.

“The partners in our firms are very active and engaged in the communities we serve—and we help many non-profits in the region through our expertise and giving back,” stated CEO Thomas Bonadio. “Jerry’s Red Wings program is a popular seasonal effort to provide a much-needed respite and entertaining outing for our area non-profit recipients. We always see smiles on the faces of our guests in the community section during the ballgame—no matter what the scoreboard says, it is a great respite from day-to-day happenings and lots of fun.”

All Marcum offices will be closed on November 21, with staff members volunteering their time at approximately 40 nonprofits. This year’s theme will be “feeding America.”

“The Marcum Day of Service is an incredible experience that brings everyone together on the same day to help those in need in our communities during a particularly vulnerable time of year for many people,” said Shaun Blogg, chair of the Marcum Foundation, per a statement. “It really has become a focal point of the year for us and something that we always look forward to.”

The Marcum Day of Service is a program from the Marcum Foundation, which oversees the firm’s charitable activities in the communities it serves.
