Nexonia launches travel management product

Nexonia, which was acquired by Certify last year, has released Nexonia Travel, a travel and expense management solution for companies of any size. The product is the first significant offering for the company since its acquisition. Following the Nexonia deal, Certify acquired corporate travel booking technology from nuTravel, which formed the basis for Nexonia Travel. The system works on both desktop computers and mobile devices, offering airfare, hotel, car rental and rail bookings. It can be configured to conform with an organization’s travel policies. Travelers attempting to book something that is inconsistent with corporate travel guidelines will automatically receive alerts over email and on their mobile devices. Nexonia Travel can also be integrated with Nexonia Expenses.

U.S. Bank offers new credit card tailored for business spending

U.S. Bank is now offering a new business credit card that stacks up reward points in categories where businesses spend the most each month — examples include raw materials, supply chain purchases, commercial equipment, medical supplies and advertising. Dubbed the U.S. Bank Business Leverage Visa, the card’s goal is to better understand what credit card features mattered most to business owners. In consultation with U.S. Bank earlier this year, business owners said they were often not receiving the most reward points on their biggest monthly purchases. With that in mind, they worked closely with U.S. Bank to design a credit card that gives them more rewards with less rules, the bank says.

Vertex integrates tax software with Infor OS ION API gateway

Vertex has integrated its Cloud Indirect Tax application with Infor ION’s API (application programming interface) gateway. This allows Infor ION to access Vertex APIs from their existing Infor interoperability ecosystem, providing them with a single point of control and a uniform proxy layer. ION is a “middleware” software that allows companies to integrate their separate enterprise software products. The customer benefits of this integration include enterprise features of the ION API gateway such as orchestrations, security access and policy enforcement to defend against threats such as denial of service (DNS) attacks or control overuse of APIs via throttling.
