CalCPA names 2019 ‘Women to Watch’

The California Society of CPAs named five CPAs its 2019 “Women to Watch” at the CalCPA Women’s Leadership Forum on Friday.

The annual award recognizes female CPAs for leadership, community and public service, advocacy, mentoring and overall contributions to the accounting profession.

This year’s Women to Watch came in three different categories:

  • Frances Ellington, a senior tax manager at Green Hasson Janks, and Tiffany Ann Goodall, a tax supervisor at Bartlett Pringle Wolf, received the Emerging Leader Award;
  • Lisa Daniels, managing partner at KPMG in San Francisco, and Amber Setter, executive coach at Intention Setter, received the Experienced Leader Award; and,
  • Donita Joseph, a partner at Windes, received the Trailblazer Award.

“This year’s winners of the Women to Watch Awards serve as strong examples not only to their peers in the profession today, but also as inspiration to women thinking about future careers in accounting and finance,” said Anthony Pugliese, the incoming CEO of CalCPA.
