PKF O’Connor Davies, a Top 100 Firm based in New York, has added Hodulik and Morrison, a firm in Highland Park, New Jersey, that specializes in audit services for the public sector.
Hodulik and Morrison will expand PKF O’Connor Davies’ Public Sector practice, but will operate as a division of the firm. The deal represents PKFOD’s latest expansion and is the third firm to join in the last six months as PKFOD continues to grow along the East Coast. In February, PKFOD added BFMM Co., a firm in Providence, Rhode Island, and last December it acquired GHG CPAs in Chestnut Ridge, New York.
“HM has earned its reputation as a leading accounting resource for the public sector,” said PKF O’Connor Davies Managing Partner Kevin J. Keane in a statement. “We’re excited to work with talented individuals who are as passionate about serving clients as we are. We welcome Bob, Andy and the entire HM team and look forward to combining our efforts.”
Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed. PKFOD had $165.75 million in annual revenue, while HM had $2.5 million. PKFOD ranked 29th on Accounting Today’s 2019 list of the Top 100 Firms. PKFOD has 105 partners and 755 staff, and will be adding two partners and more than a dozen staff from HM to PKFOD’s office in Cranford, New Jersey. PKFOD has 11 offices in five states.
“We’re thrilled to combine our experience in government audits with PKF O’Connor Davies’ industry-leading client service,” stated HM partner Andrew Hodulik. “It’s exciting to join a network of professionals who share our commitment to serving Central and Northern New Jersey public entities.”
