Kurt Gresens was named managing partner at Wipfli, Milwaukee, effective June 1, after being elected by the firm’s partners. Gresens is succeeding Rick Dreher, who is completing a 13-year tenure as the firm’s managing partner and chairman of the board. Kelly Fisher took over Gresens’ current role of practice partner, also effective June 1. Gresens has been a partner at the firm since 2006 and was elected to Wipfli’s board of directors in 2013. The firm also announced new roles for several partners: Kelly Arduino, health care industry leader; Stephanie Cavadeas, audit and accounting quality control partner; Kelly Fisher, practice partner; Ken Kortas, business solutions group leader; Scott Nelson, audit and accounting leader; Scott Schumacher, tax practice leader; and Dan Szidon, core services leader.
Wipfli also promoted 11 to partner: Jaili Fajardo, Brian Gaumont, Casey Kretz, Chris Lockhart, Anita Mahamed, Kevin Scully, Nick Smith, Dana Springer, Ryan Swiderski, Michelle Swoboda and Mike Vaccarella.
Additionally, Wipfli Financial announced three promotions: Jandy Rowe to chief operating officer; Katie Calagui to chief talent officer; and chief investment officer Rafia Hasa to principal.
