The National Association of State Boards of Accountancy has produced a new infographic comparing the numbers for next Monday’s highly anticipated solar eclipse.
In the chart, NASBA forecasts how many people in North America will be able to see the eclipse, how many previous total eclipses have traveled the exact same path, how far the centerline of the eclipse will be from NASBA’s hometown of Nashville, and more.
Other information includes how long a solar eclipse can last, how fast the moon can move across the sun (from Earthlings’ perspective, that is), and how large the sun is compared to the moon.
