White Nelson Diehl Evans LLP merges in Zarrinkelk, Kashefipour Co.
Details: White Nelson Diehl Evans LLP has merged with Zarrinkelk, Kashefipour Co., an accounting, tax, and business advisory firm based in Irvine, effective Nov. 1, 2017. The staff at ZKCO plan to relocate to WNDE’s headquarters, which are also in Irvine.
Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed. WNDE was founded 90 years ago and is one of the biggest accounting firms in Orange County, with more than 3,000 business clients and 3,500 individual clients.
“ZKCO is a respected firm in our industry, with a long history of providing high-quality tax, accounting, and financial consulting services to privately held businesses and high-net worth individuals,” said Paul Treinen, co-managing partner at WNDE, in a statement. “We’re excited to join forces because we believe that it will allow our combined staff to continue to provide a wider array and a more in-depth level of services to a more expanded and diverse client base.”
ZKCO partner Majid Zarrinkelk said his firm had conducted an extensive search in the region looking for the right opportunity. “Joining the WNDE team will allow us to continue our tradition of excellent service, deep expertise, and a supportive environment for our clients and associates,” he said in a statement.

Moss, Krusick Associates LLC combines with Smyth Hauck, P.A.
Details: Moss, Krusick Associates LLC, a firm based in Winter Park, Fla., has expanded by merging with Smyth Hauck, P.A. of North Palm Beach, effective Sept. 16, 2017.
Smyth Hauck was founded in 1982 and provides accounting, tax and advisory services to businesses, high net worth individuals, and not-for-profits. The combined firm will have 55 employees. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.
“I want to welcome the partners and staff of Smyth Hauck, P.A.to the MKA team,” said Moss Krusick managing partner Ed Moss in a statement. “This combination allows us to extend our geographic footprint into Palm Beach County and add a fantastic group of talented people all committed to helping clients achieve success.”
Smyth Hauck managing partner Paul Smyth pointed to his firm’s connections to the community. “We have a long history of strong personal relationships with estates and trusts in the Greater Palm Beach community,” he said in a statement. “Our management team believes that combining with MKA, will give us an ability to build on that tradition. Clients will still receive the same close personal attention they have come to expect from us, but our combined resources will offer an opportunity to expand our services and expertise. We believe that MKA has our same service philosophy and culture which will ensure a seamless transition for staff and clients as well.”
His partner, Darby Hauck, will be managing partner of MKA’s North Palm Beach office. The other professionals at Smyth Hauck will continue to serve clients from their current office in North Palm Beach, Fla. The firm Transition Advisors arranged the merger.
