Whitley Penn has added Dossani, Turnage Van Hoose, P.C. and its affiliate, Impact Financial Solutions, LLC, effective July 1.
The firms have joined Whitley Penn’s Dallas office, increasing its footprint in the Dallas–Fort Worth area to approximately 350 employees, with nearly 500 employees firm-wide. One partner is joining from Dossani, Turnage Van Hoose.
Financial terms were not disclosed. Whitley Penn, based in Fort Worth, Texas, ranked 47th on Accounting Today’s 2018 list of the Top 100 Firms. The combined firm will have revenue of $105 million.
Dossani, Turnage Van Hoose and Impact Financial Solutions specialize in management consulting, financial accounting, financial planning, and income tax compliance and consulting. They mainly cater to clients in the real estate, professional services, IT services, oil and gas, manufacturing and health care sectors.

Dossani’s firm also specializes in accounting software and systems implementation, which will become a new service offering for Whitley Penn.

Whitley Penn has done several MA deals in the past couple of years in Texas. Last year, Whitley Penn merged in OverMont Consulting, a firm that specializes in performing economic analyses for commercial legal disputes and litigation support services. In 2016, it added Hanner Associates, a CPA firm in Bedford, Texas, and another Texas CPA firm, Wagner, Eubank Nichols.
