The National Association of Black Accountants has announced that it is now accepting applications for its 2019 National Scholarship Program through Dec. 15, 2018.
NABA has provided over $11.1 million in scholarship funds since its inception, aiding top students entering the accounting, finance and business fields. NABA has awarded more than $295,000 to students in the last three years alone.
To qualify for the 2019 scholarships, applicants must:
- Be African-American or of African descent.
- Be an active NABA student member, whose membership dues have been received by NABA’s national headquarters by Dec. 31, 2018.
- Be currently enrolled at a four-year U.S. college or university as a full-time undergraduate or full-time graduate student majoring in accounting, finance or business.
- Have a minimum GPA of 3.5 in their major and a 3.3 GPA overall.
