K•Coe Isom merges in Noell Agnew & Morse

K•Coe Isom, a Top 100 Firm based in Loveland, Colorado, has acquired Noell Agnew Morse, a California firm that specializes in servicing food and agricultural businesses.

Noell Agnew Morse dates back to 1983, and much of the firm focuses on agribusiness clients, helping them deal with financial, legislative and operational issues. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed. K•Coe Isom ranked 69th on Accounting Today’s 2018 list of the Top 100 Firms, with $64.55 million in annual revenue.

“When we met with Noell Agnew Morse, our missions aligned,” K•Coe Isom CEO Jeff Wald said in a statement. “Their partners and employees serve agribusinesses with the same drive and passion that our firm values — committed to providing specialization, expertise and resources to help agribusinesses nationwide, with the ultimate goal to improve and secure the future of America’s farming operations and production. Their distinguished presence in food and ag, and special level of expertise in serving producers and processors, will fortify our organization to provide a wider array of insight and innovation for food and ag operations.”

Noell Agnew Morse has offices in Visalia and Sacramento, California. Its partners and employees are expected to either remain in the Sacramento office or join K•Coe Isom’s office in Fresno, California.

“This opportunity exceeded our hopes in finding a partner firm that offers a complementary service and industry offering, as well as embodies the same values and tradition we have for providing an elevated level of expertise, and an environment our clients and employees will want to be a part of,” stated Noell Agnew Morse partner Kevin Noell. “The continuity of service to our existing clients and the market-at-large will be seamless, and our ability to provide a broader span of innovative ag solutions is limitless.”

Last year, K•Coe Isom acquired Praedium Ventures LLC, a Des Moines, Iowa-based training, planning and consulting firm that specializes in improving agricultural farming operations. It also expanded last year into Missouri by acquiring Baer Co., and in 2016 it acquired Schmidt, Bettencourt Medeiros, a firm in Turlock, California, its sixth location in the state.
