SEK, York, promoted three staff members to manager: William Souders, who works closely with nonprofit, governmental, and for-profit entities in the Hagerstown office; Daryl Staley in the accounting, consulting and tax services department; and Evan Wabrick in the tax department, who also assists in accounting services.

Christopher Ittner and Jeremy Michels, both professors of accountancy at the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania, received the 2019 Greatest Potential Impact on Management Accounting Practice Award from the Association of International Certified Professional Accountants and the Management Accounting Section of the American Accounting Association.
