Frank Mahoney (pictured) was appointed region managing partner for the US-West at Ernst Young, San Francisco. He also serves as a senior advisory partner for several of the firm’s largest clients in the region and continues to serve on the U.S. executive committee and the Americas operating executive. Mahoney previously served as the Americas vice chair for assurance. He succeeds Kay Matthews and Randy Cain, region managing partners of the West and Southwest, respectively, who both retired in June after more than 35 years with the firm.

Matthew Corder and Emily Murphy were promoted to audit manager, and Samantha Re to tax manager, at Hood Strong, San Francisco.

Marla Sari was appointed chief administrative officer at Seiler, Redwood City, where she has worked since 2007.

Herpinder Sihan was named assurance and advisory director at Hood Strong, San Jose, where she has worked since 2009.
