Baker Tilly, Chicago, celebrated its fourth annual Stewardship Day on Aug. 1, a single day of service when firm members volunteer with more than 100 nonprofit organizations.

The Illinois CPA Society will be hosting the ICPAS Summit19 Aug. 27-28 at the Donald E. Stephens Convention Center in Rosemont, which will feature more than 40 thought leaders and 36 educational sessions. The opening keynote presentation will feature ICPAS president and CEO Todd Shapiro and Geoffrey Harlow, partner at Wipfli and board chairperson of the Illinois CPA Society, discussing the state of the profession.
